For over 30 years, Eddie Avila, Managing Partner of Key Real Estate Development, Corp., has been refining his skills in some of Florida's most successful developments. In the 1980's Avila served as Vice President of Cheezem Development, the public company which shaped the Brickell landscape from the beginning. Cheezem and Avila were also instrumental in sparking the re-development of the venerable South Beach area when few believed in the possibility of revival. In 1985, their South Pointe project resulted in a sellout of over $30 million and ushered in a new era of construction on the beach.

Overall, Avila has been involved with the marketing and development of over 1,300 residences on Brickell, including Brickell Place and the phenomenally successful Brickell Key. On the west coast, Avila spearheaded the development of an additional 700 ocean front condominiums on the island of Sand Key.

One of Avila's most recent ventures is Grand Bay Estates, now complete and sold-out, on Key Biscayne. The 21 luxury homes, ranging in prices upwards of $ 2 Million, were sold-out in less than a year. Today, Grand Bay Estates is widely regarded as the most exclusive private community on the island.

Avila's current Miami developments include Deering Bay Estates, consisting of nine exclusive, single family homes in the Coral Gables landmark development (under construction), Grand Oaks Estates a luxury home community in Broward County and Sunset 102 Office Park, consisting of 4 buildings totaling 36,000sqft. of commercial office space for sale.
